Sales Agronomist - Weyburn,SK

The successful applicant will be responsible for selling crop input products to farmer customers in the Weyburn area.

Reporting to the Crop Input Manager of Weyburn you will work directly with the staff at the facility to ensure crop input products are sold as required by the business plan. You will also be responsible for providing agronomic advice to farmer customers.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Thorough knowledge of crop input products and their application along with the ability to provide solid agronomic advice is required.
* Responsible for all customer contact as it relates to the sales of crop input products.
* Deal with producer customers and provide agronomic information and guidance in a professional manner and be comfortable interacting with producers in person or through various other methods of modern communication.
* Provide assistance in the contracting of grain as required by the business.

Qualifications:
* Possess an education and/or experience in the Agriculture industry
* Any post-secondary in Agriculture including a degree, diploma, certificate or a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) designation is an asset.
* A good ability to relate to people and to promote products and services
* Results oriented
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to interface with all segments in the agriculture industry
* Ability to work as a member of a team
* Computer literacy is required.
* Thorough knowledge of the crops in the area is required along with experience in providing modern, effective crop protection solutions for the producers in this area.
* Valid driver's licence is required
