Our clients vision is to be a world class
dissolving pulp mill, producing 650 tonnes per day
with a staffing compliment of approximately 250
employees in a unionized facility.
Our client has an immediate opening for an
Electrical and Systems Engineer at their facility
in Prince Albert.
*The Opportunity*
Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering
Manager, this position will be responsible for the
design engineering and project management (support
or lead) for assigned electrical/systems projects.
Duties also include management of contractors and
leading in the development of the engineering and
maintenance systems to support a world class
manufacturing facility.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Coordinate with customers to obtain and develop
engineering projects
* Prepare proposals and engineering estimates
* Plan schedules, design task and project
execution
* Prepare project scoping documents and capital
cost estimates
* Prepare engineering reports

*The Candidate*
The successful candidates possess an Electrical
Engineering Degree and are eligible for
certification as a Professional Engineer in
Saskatchewan with three or more years of
engineering experience in a pulp mill or similar
industrial setting.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills,
be self-managing with the ability and desire to
work interdependently with others. Familiarity
with PLCs, software systems, DCS, and power
systems engineering are highly desirable.
Candidates must also possess design engineering
experience and project management experience and
knowledge.
