Description

The Carrot River Valley Watershed Association is currently seeking an experienced part-time administrative assistant.  The successful candidate will operate out of our office located at 202 Main Street in Melfort and will work 30 hours/month (approximately 7.5 hours/week).  
Job duties
    Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements;
    Prepare and distribute monthly meeting minutes;
    Prepare and distribute draft meeting agendas;
    Record and track yearly budget;
    Complete payroll and expenses on a monthly basis;
    Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing;
     Compile data, statistics and other information in excel;
    Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents;
    Prepare and send out invoices;
    Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
    Office education, administrative diploma or 1-2 years experience in office administration;
    Strong knowledge of Quick Books;
    Experience with Microsoft Office;
    Ability to work independently and part of a team;
    Strong planning and organization skills;
    Strong computer skills;
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
