Summer Student JobWe are currently accepting applications for Junior
Lifeguards. This is a seasonal part time position
with approximate dates of employment from June
26th until September 1st 2014. Some evening and
weekend availability will be required. Wage is
based on qualifications and range from $11.00 to
$13.00/hour. Additional benefits include a
campsite at no charge in a designated area of the
park.
Required qualifications include Bronze Cross,
Standard First Aid/CPR-C.
Junior Lifeguards reports to the Head Lifeguard.
We are seeking applicants who are self-motivated;
enjoy being outdoors and interacting with the
public. Junior Lifeguards work alongside
certified lifeguard/instructors.
Main duties of this position include assisting
instructors with lessons, assist with lifeguarding
duties ensuring patron safety, enforcing all pool
policies, be compliant with the Pool Safety Plan,
maintenance and cleaning of the pool including
chemical tests, collecting swimming fees and
handling patron concerns, and assist with swimming
lesson registrations.
