The successful candidate will be responsible for the following
duties:
1. Responsible and safe supervision of children
2. Assisting with the implementing and organization of
activities
3. Maintaining confidentiality
4. Knowledge of computers and completion of various office
duties
5. Successful communication skills
The Summer Program Assistant will be responsible for the
supervision of children to ensure quality care during summer
program operations. The successful candidate will assist
handling day to day issues as they arise and uphold a safe
and enjoyable atmosphere for each participant. The candidate
will work alongside the co-coordinator and maintain a team
environment, at the same time taking initiative and being
creative. It is mandatory for the candidate to maintain
confidentiality for the privacy and integrity of the program and
families involved. Completion of light office duties will be
expected and thus knowledge of computers is a must. Finally,
the successful candidate must have the ability to effectively
communicate with children, parents and other staff.
Applicant will be required to provide a Police Check.
Applicant must be entering post secondary schooling or
continuing post secondary in Fall of 2014
