Regina Multicultural Council has an opening for a highly organized and forward planning individual to serve as its Summer Student for 2014. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Summer Student will work in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Administrative Assistant, along with the Board of Directors to foster the vision and mission of the organization. Duties will include cataloguing, itemizing and storing heritage pieces, cultural photographs and ethnic community organizations information. The successful candidate will aid in the execution of Mosaic A Festival of Cultures, working integrally with the multicultural community, answering general questions and inquiries. Other duties including Administrative assistance as assigned by the Executive Director
RMC is a non-profit organization comprised of over 50 different cultural member organizations within the City of Regina. RMC's mandate is to educate the public about different cultures and foster positive relations between communities through increasing public knowledge and appreciate of different ethnic groups' art, culture, language and traditions.
