The Focus on Families program is responsible for coordinating, developing and implementing educational programming, activities, and support services for families prenatal to five years old.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
1.Adhere to the Kinistin Saulteaux Nation Personnel Policy as set out by the Chief and Council;
2.Act as resource through providing confidential and appropriate cultural, social, and educational programming and activities for families;
3.Provide confidential referrals, follow ups, and case management services for families, as well access and provide linkages to community based services, resources, and programs;
4.Program Administration;
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Post-Secondary experience an asset but not limited to the human services discipline or related field.
2.Certification in the following areas will be considered an asset:
a.Training in the Home Visitors Program, ASSIST, Mental Health First Aid, Life Skills Coaching and/or training in facilitation, Early Childhood Education, Family Systems Therapy, and Counseling Skills.
3.Must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and reliable vehicle and meet community insurance requirements.
4.Must have a clear current CPIC (Canadian Criminal Records Check), which identifies a vulnerable sectors check.
