Call Schedule Description:The successful applicant would have to particapte in call at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre ideally 1 in 6.
The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region is seeking family physician(s) to join an established office based practice to provide services for the community and area surrounding Shellbrook, who will work in collaboration nurse practitioner and other rural healthcare partners.
Nestled in the heart of Saskatchewan's parkland, Shellbrook is a dynamic and growing community of more than 1,200 people. A new integrated health facility opened in June 2013. the Parkland Integrated Health Cen-tre is the home of the hospital, long-term care and community-based services including Home Care and Public Health. The Region also operates, in partnership with the Town of Shellbrook, the Shellbrook Primary Health Care Clinic, which has both physicians and nurse practitioners providing primary care services.
The Parkland Integrated Health Centre includes:
Hospital, with Emergency Department and 20 inpatient beds
Special Care Home34 units in three separate house
Laboratory services
X-ray Services
Community-based programs
Home Care
Public Health
Therapies
