KRT Ventures Inc. a modern grain farm operation,
located at Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, is currently
seeking Farm Labourers/Equipment Operators for the
2014 cropping season.
Duties of the Farm Labourer/Equipment Operator may
include:
* Operation of equipment for all or any of the
following operations: field preparation, seeding,
spraying, swathing, combining, post harvest
maintenance/ tillage.
* Regular maintenance of farm equipment.
* Regular maintenance of farm yards, buildings,
etc. (mowing of grass, repair & maintenance of
buildings)
* General day to day tasks required for operations
of the farm & farm camp.
* Other duties as they arise.
Requirements:
* Language - English is mandatory
* Have excellent communication skills (written &
oral)
* Extensive farm experience with modern machinery
(minimum of 1 cropping season - seeding to harvest
completion)
* Are mechanically inclined
* Energetic and self-motivated
* Are able to and work independently and/ or in a
team atmosphere
* Be willing to work long hours when necessary
* A valid driver's license is mandatory (with
clean driver's abstract)
* Class 1A driver's license is an asset.
Employment Details:
* Wages start at CAD $16 and will be negotiable
depending on experience.
* Work duration is for the 2014 cropping season,
commencing April 1 - November 30, 2014 or a
portion there of.
