Description

The City of Swift Current is inviting applications for a seasonal Labourer position at Kinetic Park in the Community Services Division.  This is a seasonal position working 40 hours per week as needed.  

Under the direction of the Kinetic Park Superintendent, this employee will be responsible for janitorial related duties, care and maintenance of buildings, equipment, furnishings and surrounding grounds.

Basic Requirements:
. Completion of Grade Twelve (12)
. Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
. Ability to operate maintenance equipment such as front end loaders, fork lifts, and zero turn mowers with due care and attention.
. Ability to use simple hand tools and basic power equipment such as circular saws, chain saws, and drills, required for building and grounds maintenance.
. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and possess initiative with respect to duties and responsibilities.
. Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the general public.
