Description

The Building Technician is responsible for
operating, maintaining and repairing SaskTel
buildings and properties with required
certification and licensing.  In this position you
will act as chief engineer and refrigeration
engineer as specified in the Boiler and Pressure
Vessel Act of Saskatchewan. You will also provide
project and contract management on contracted
building services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as Chief Engineer and Refrigeration
Engineer. Responsible for all heating, cooling and
humidification systems.

- Operates, maintains and repairs buildings,
systems, equipment and grounds, adhering to
buildings practices, programs and all applicable
statutes and regulations.

- Performs regular preventative maintenance
routines on systems and buildings.

- Promptly responds to customer requests.
Identifies and analyzes problems and takes
corrective action.

- Investigates, takes corrective action and/or
resolves environmental issues by inspecting,
calibrating and troubleshooting HVAC (Heating
Ventilation and Air Conditioning) equipment and
controls.
