Northlands College, a government funded Regional College serving northern Saskatchewan is seeking a Family Literacy Instructor in La Ronge Saskatchewan from April 23, 2014 to September 15, 2014 for 100 instructional days.  

The Family Literacy Instructor/Facilitator will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Family Literacy program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-    promote and deliver quality family literacy programs and services
-    promote and raise awareness of Family Literacy Programs and resources through publication, workshops and community events
-    provide information and access to resources that promote literacy and learning
-    consult and work with community partners to identify gaps, opportunities and priorities for delivery of family literacy training, programs and services
-    develop resources for the delivery of family literacy programs/services
-    organize, facilitate and participate in community family literacy programs and events to promote literacy
-    strengthen knowledge base of family literacy practitioners and build capacity in the organization to provide quality family literacy programs and services
-    plan, coordinate and deliver family literacy events within communities and online

Additional Requirements: A valid driver's license is required as this position requires some travel throughout the northern Saskatchewan region.
