Overview: The Landscape Foreman is an integral part of the organization, responsible for delivering a variety of services according to the detailed list of responsibilities outlined below.
Skills
Be able to read blue prints
Project management skills and knowledge.
Ability to supervise and organize construction activities in a systematic and efficient manner.
Duties
Supervises and coordinates all operations and construction activities to ensure completion of projects: this includes scheduling and assigning duties on a day to day basis; ensuring work conforms to applicable codes and regulations; obtaining supplies/equipment; reviewing and inspecting all work; repairing records and progress reports and project review reporting and assessment.
Cost management in all aspects under his jurisdiction.
An intimate knowledge of Sawyers standard operating procedures.
Required: It is essential that the Landscape Foreman must possess all the following requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a capacity similar in nature to this position.
Certification and/or licensing as required by the list of responsibilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English Language.
Good organizational skills.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to be insured by our commercial insurance carrier as a driver.
Excellent documentation skills and strict adherence to documentation requirements.
Preferred:
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a capacity similar in nature to this position.
Advanced training and/or education in a horticulture related program.
