Regina Youth for Christ is looking for a full time Administrative
Assistant to support our growing youth ministry. This position
provides a lot of diversity and the opportunity to use an
assortment of talents and passions. It is ideal for a person who
enjoys variety and change in their tasks throughout the week. The
right candidate will be organized, professional, well spoken,
self-directed and able prioritize tasks. Above all, they will already
be in agreement with our Statement of Faith.
Responsibilities Include:
General Administration
-General reception and office duties as needed
-Creating professional correspondence in a variety of forms
email, letter, poster, newsletter, presentation, report
-Periodically writing grant proposals and searching out new grant
possibilities
-Booking, organizing and supporting events, meetings and
training functions
-Editing and formatting documents and newsletters
-Creating and/or editing presentations
-Regularly attending to Thank you notes and phone calls to donors
-Accurately entering financial information into database
-Maintaining accurate partner lists, mail labels and contact
information
Skills Required:
-A personal commitment to the faith-focus of our organization
-Excellent working knowledge of office software (both PC and Mac
compatible)
-Working knowledge of presentation software such as Keynote or
Power Point
-Superior written and oral communication skills
-Experience in grant writing preferred
-Familiarity with basic accounting practices and software
-Accuracy and high standards for excellence
-Operate with trustworthiness and integrity in all that you do
-Competent use of standard office equipment
-Ability to work in a diverse setting with varying tasks
-Ability to organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a timely
manner
-Ability to work on a large team
