Northlands College, a government funded Regional College serving northern Saskatchewan is seeking a Part Time Educational Assistant Program Instructor in Ile a la Crosse, Saskatchewan from April 22, 2014 to June 26, 2014 for 47 instructional days.

The Instructor is responsible for delivering the Educational Assistant Program to adult students registered in the program.  Areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to: Culture and Diversity; Interpersonal Communications; Supporting Instruction I and 2; Employability Skills; Child and Adolescent Development Roles and Responsibilities; Behavioral Principles and Practices; Studies of Exceptionality A and B; Family Dynamics; Basic Care Skills; and Crisis Prevention. The Instructor will be required to travel.

The minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor of Education Degree with two years recent/relevant experience; effective communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to work with adults in a cross-cultural educational setting; and an effective instructional ability.

Accrediting Institute: SIAST- The successful applicant must meet SIAST accreditation requirements.
