Description

Precision is recruiting for this role various field locations in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
Working under direct supervision, you will participate and assist in the mobilization, operation and demobilization of PD solid control equipment (i.e Centrifuges, VFD, Pumps, etc) in the shop;
Maintaining, setting up and rigging out solids control equipment in the field;
Ensuring equipment is maintained to current company standards;
Troubleshooting and repairing minor issues on location;  
Daily communication with supervisor regarding both shop and field work; and,
General shop duties as required.

Qualifications:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) ;
Minimum 0-2 years experience with centrifuge/mud systems;/Derrickhand experience;
Mechanical/electrical knowledge of centrifuges and tools (usage, repair and maintenance);
Basic understanding of Solids Control and closed-loop systems is preferred;
Ability to work long hours for extended periods at our various locations;
Ability to work in all weather conditions and will include working weekends and holidays;
Must be physically fit, and able to lift 75 pounds, walk up and down stairs/ladders frequently, and stand for extended periods of time;
Valid class 5 Drivers License;
Ability to take part in on-call rotation as required;
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word and Excel;
Highly motivated with excellent communication skills;
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently;
Attention to detail and good organizational skills;
Excellent teamwork and team building skills;
Maintain records of daily operation checklists; and,
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
