Kramer Ltd. has an immediate opportunity for a Heavy Duty Technician Leadhand to join our team in Regina. If youre a high energy, self-motivated individual who is willing to work hard in a team-oriented environment and are ready to think HUGE, we want to talk to you!
Whats involved?
Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the activities of workers who repair and maintain heavy-duty equipment
Assist in scheduling incoming work and availability of technicians
Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
Requisition materials and supplies
Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity
Train and mentor other technicians
Ensure that standards for safe working conditions are observed
Whats required?
A valid drivers license
Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
Mechanical and mathematic aptitude
Comfort using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi task, detail oriented, positive attitude, and a team player
Strong problem solving, adaptability, and flexibility skills
Have a concern for safety and awareness of safe working procedures
Whats nice to have?
Several years of experience as a qualified tradesperson
Caterpillar equipment experience
