Michels Canada has an opportunity for experienced CIPP Wetout Technicians. Working at a wetout facility in Saskatoon, SK, the CIPP Wetout Technician will monitor and operate machinery to mix specialty chemicals for a liner used in cured-in-place pipe (CIPP). Will perform tasks such as monitor meters, gauges and electronic instruments on machinery while resin and chemicals mix and during injection process, measure, weigh and load chemicals, start up, shut down, troubleshoot and clean equipment, adjust machines and equipment as needed, place liner on conveyor belt and monitor injection process, take samples and test liner as needed, prepare liner for transit to jobsite, communicate with other crew members to get work completed, and adhere to safety practices and procedures. Work indoors and possible shift work in the evenings and nighttime. Minimum of 12 months related work experience required. Experience using equipment such as static mixer, conveyor belt and sizing roller is required. Minimum valid Class 3 drivers license with Air Brakes endorsement and Certificate of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training preferred. Must be or become a member of the LIUNA Local Union. Driving record check and drug test required.
