Position Details:
Permanent Part-Time
Assignment:
6.0 hours/day Library Technician per school student days and/or as arranged by the principal
Term:
To commence the 2014-15 school year
Qualifications:
Minimum grade 12 plus diploma/certificate in Library & Information Technology or a equivalent related post-secondary education is required however not mandatory upon commencement of employment. In accordance with AP 400-Staff Recruitment & Selection,as outlined on our website, if the successful candidate has not completed the appropriate training, he/she will be required to enroll in a board approved post-secondary course related to library & information technology prior to the completion of their probationary period.
Experience as a library technician will be considered an asset
Duties:
Duties include cataloguing of library resources & other duties as outlined in AP 432-Duties & Responsibilities of Library Support Staff.
Salary & Benefits:
In accordance with the current CUPE Local 4784 Collective Agreement-outlined on our website.
