The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies develops and delivers trade and industrial programming throughout the province of Saskatchewan. The T&I department is based out of the SIIT Saskatoon Campus. SIIT is recruiting for a qualified individual to fill the following full-time position: Coordinator, Trades and Industrial Department.

Duties:
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Trades and Industrial department:
    Coordinate the delivery of select T&I programming.
    Provide management and administrative support to the T&I department and the SIIT Career Centers.
    Assist in program planning, development, delivery and reporting.

Qualifications:
    Post-secondary certification in education, administration or the applied technologies.
    Journey certification in a construction or industrial trade.
    Related trade and industrial work experience.
    Experience in training program development, budgeting, and coordination is preferred.
    Good understanding of the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship system and the related post-secondary training systems.
    Above average communication skills (interpersonal, written)
    Task oriented and well organized with the ability to work independently in a team environment.
    Effective skills in using computers (MS Office, internet, databases).
    Knowledge of a First Nation language or culture is an asset.
