Marton's Autobody is looking to hire for part time and full time positions. Candidates should be passionate about cars and have required skills for occupation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints & other technical diagrams
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints & other technical diagrams
- Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts & components together using hand & power tools & equipment
- Operate & tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic & fixed automation equipment
- Connect cables, tubes & wires to complete assemblies & installations
- Position & install parts, subassemblies & accessories such as engines, transmissions, door panels or instrument panels using hand & power tools & other aids like overhead hoists
- Fit and adjust parts such as doors, hoods & trunk lids
- Check motor vehicle exterior priming & colour coats, sealers & glazes. Mark, record & report defects to be repaired
- Test motor vehicle electrical asemblies, equipment & wiring for proper performance, using testing devices such as meteres, analysers & timing lights
- Inspect auto parts & fully assembled motor vehicles for defects & to ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected
- Drive & test motor vehicles on rolling testing devices to ensure that transmission, axel, engine & brakes function properly.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- At least 1 year relevant experience
- Completion of secondary school usually required
