Position Title: Service and Installation Technician - Security
Location: Regina
Role Summary
The Regina branch is currently looking for an individual who can work in an exciting, fast paced environment. One who enjoys a high technology industry that requires on-going training and development. This role involves the installation and service of intrusion alarm systems, access control,Video CCTV systems and Integrated Security Systems. In addition, he/she must recommend improvements (upgrades) to our current customers, while providing superior customer service. On occasion the successful candidate will be required to travel to locations across Saskatchewan to perform service and installation of electronic security systems. Key Job Responsibilities
Communicate with customers to identify the source of the problem of their security/access control/cctv system(s). Independently perform high quality service, proper maintenance and make recommendations for improvement to the system if needed. All this is done by ensuring customer satisfaction.
Commission and test products within our portfolio and work closely with the Alarm Control Centre to ensure proper installation and operation.
Educational /Technical Requirements
Post secondary education concentrated on technical electronics
Strong knowledge of PC based applications and network environments. Experience and technical knowledge of security products and standards/codes
Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the installation of security systems, preferably within an integrated systems environment but willing to train the right candidate.
General knowledge of Electronics and general use of hand and power tools.Strong mechanical apptitude. There is a requirement to take part in an "on call" rotation once trained.
