Reporting to the vice-president, finance and resources, this is much more than a classic finance role. We are seeking an associate vice-president (AVP) financial services who has a vision of the future that aligns with the universitys strategic directions and who has the outstanding leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to make it a reality. As associate vice- president you will be presented with an opportunity to use your previous experience in a senior financial position to deliver financial strategic leadership for the university. This role has a broad mandate; working closely with stakeholders across the campus community, the associate vice-president will design and implement financial strategies and develop innovative solutions that will shape the future of the university.

In addition to holding a professional accounting designation, you also have earned a degree in business, economics or a related discipline, preferably at the masters level. Having risen to a senior financial position in the public or private sector, you are now ready to realize your full strategic potential in a wonderfully engaged organization.
