Description

Adecco is currently recruiting a Engineer to assist our client with designing of a new compression facilities as well as the design of station retrofits.  The qualified candidate will be working in the Facilities & Storage Engineering group.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  - Provide technical support by applying engineering principles in the investigation, analysis and resolution of facility related problems.
This includes:
  o Provide concepts and estimates.
  o Develop and obtain scope and funding approvals.
  o Manage project budgets and resources.
  o Procure material and services and manage contractors and consultants ensuring contract compliance.
  o Coordinate project schedule with internal groups and external agencies.
  o Oversee construction and commissioning activities, ensuring projects proceed safely according to schedule, specifications and cost.  

Qualifications
- Candidates must have graduated with a Degree from a recognized engineering program (preference for Industrial, Mechanical and Petroleum will be given although all disciplines are welcomed to apply).  Must be eligible for registration with APEGS as a Engineer-in-Training or P.Eng.  New graduates with be considered.
- The designs completed within the Facilities & Storage Engineering department must be compliant with ASME B31.3 & CSA Z662 codes for the design of process piping systems.  - AutoCAD design software for the completion of 2 dimensional piping layout drawing.  In 2014, the utilization of Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft Project and SharePoint will be expanded.  

Hours of Work:  Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.  Contract starts May 1st until December 31, 2014.  Client would like option to extend this contract for five (5) one (1) years until December 31, 2019.
