The Co-op Refinery Complex invites applications for an Occupational Health Nurse. Responsibilities include providing nursing services to all employees on the worksite (including emergency response), implementing wellness programs, facilitating health surveillance programs including audiometry, spirometry, and respirator fit testing, plus other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include being a Registered Nurse in good standing with a Provincial Registered Nurses Association, with a minimum of five years nursing experience. Two-three years as an Occupational Health Nurse in an industrial environment is an asset. Ideally, the candidate should have or be working towards the Certified Occupational Health Nurse designation. Experience in disability management and knowledge of relevant provincial legislation, including WCB and OHS Regulations will be an asset. Strong interpersonal, communication, decision making skills, and an ability to work independently are required.
