Applications are invited for a full-time temporary (6 hrs/day) Library Technician/Library Clerk to work as part of a team providing support to the school library at Hudson Bay Composite High School in the North East School Division.  This position will commence at the beginning of the 2014 - 2015 school year and conclude on June 26, 2015.

Duties will include cataloguing and classification of resource centre material, for assisting in the provision of patron services to staff and students, and for assisting in the organization and maintenance of the resource centre.

Qualifications:
Possess a Grade 12 diploma.
To qualify as a Library Technician, a post-secondary education program which has focused on the role and scope of the Library Technician in education would be required.
Related training or experience in the field of education or a library would be a definite asset.
Proficiency in the use of computers and software such as Microsoft Office, database systems, circulation and cataloguing in addition to other software currently used in the school division
Be willing to join the Local CUPE 4875 Union
