Description

A-Mazing Adventures, a privately owned gymnastics club, is located in a fully equipped 28,000 sq ft gymnastics facility, with one of the largest memberships in the country.

Description and Responsibilities:

As the Women's Head Coach, duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Coaching - developmental and provincial stream programs with a full range of coaching responsibilities.  Developmental programs programs, assisting with the program content, coaching and assessment if time allows.

Knowledge and Skills:

-completion of post secondary degree or diploma in related field.
- Experience coaching provincial and national WAG
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, procedures and technical knowledge in WAG
- Energetic and active creating a positive training environment
- approachable and must have excellent communication skills

 

Skills and Abilities

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Level 2 Certificate in Coaching
 - Level 3 Certificate in Coaching
Specific Skills
 - Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
 - Participate in coaching clinic instruction
 - Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games
 - Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs
 - Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance
