Description

Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking a detail oriented individual to be responsible for organizing and managing corporate databases to ensure integrity and availability, ensures server environments are functioning properly and any development or modifications are consistent with the organizations database architecture.  The Database Administrator plans, implements and upgrades database management systems; designs and modifies databases according to user requests and system requirements; evaluates and recommends the use of database-related tools and software; monitors system performance; establishes and implements backup and recovery processes; establishes and maintains data security and integrity; manages disk space requirements and provides written reports on database server performance, capacity planning and other metrics.
