- Managing Front Desk and Housekeeping staff,
- Scheduling of staff,
- Billing and reconciling of direct billing accounts,
- Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies
- Managing inventory of supplies etc.
- Overall management of daily operations.
- Food and beverage service,
- Ordering / Purchasing,
- Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
- Deal with all enquires in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail
- Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner
- Operate cash register
- Resolve customers' complaints
- Serve food or snacks
- Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
- Clean draft beer system
- Clean, sanitize and maintain bar
- Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Inform customers regarding contents of cocktails or other drinks
- Operate point-of-sales system
- Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
- Organize and set up bar
- Record and balance beverage sales
- Store beverage and food products
- Advise on wine selection
