North Star Fertilizers Ltd is now hiring a full-time Business Agronomist working out of our Prairie River location. North Star Fertilizers is looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast paced and competitive environment.
The focus of this individual will be to develop long-term partnerships with new and existing customers, as well as with suppliers and fellow North Star Fertilizers team members.

Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or related field
Ability to work effectively, independently and as part of a team.
Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational planning and time management skills.
Computer aptitude is essential.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Agricultural industry sales experience is considered a definite asset.
Valid drivers license and good driving record is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interact closely with North Star Fertilizers Operations, Agronomy and other staff selling our customers innovative products and practices.
Develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships.
Understand our customers and their farming operations to ensure they are sustainable and profitable.
Interact closely with customers and be responsible for their inquiries.
Assist customers with agronomic advice and recommend crop production solutions.
Assist in the sales and marketing of North Star Fertilizers products and services.
Participate in ongoing training and development.
Work to create a team environment that fosters continuous learning.
Perform other duties as required.
