Wiegers Financial & Benefits is looking to add a Chartered Accountant to our growing head office in Saskatoon. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for facilitating and managing all the financial aspects of the company and its subsidiaries while maintaining the integrity and responsibility of Wiegers Financial & Benefits budgets and providing professional advice about financial decisions.
Other responsibilities of the Chartered Account are (but not limited to):
Creation and maintenance of departmental budgets
Maintaining and producing all investment, expense, and revenue reports
Corporate and personal tax return filings
Completion of corporate financial statements
Management and auditing of financial reports, mortgages, and Line of Credits
Corporate expense management and reconciliation
Consultation on financial and estate plans
Interface with clients Accountants and Advisors
Net worth and balance statements
CRA interpretation for guidelines and legislation
Education required to be considered:
B.Comm with a major in Accounting
Chartered Accountant designation
Trust and Estate Practitioner designation (TEP)
Experience requirements:
Minimum 10 years experience in the Financial services or Accounting industry
Minimum 5 years practicing as a Chartered Accountant
Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills are definite assets. The ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy environment is necessary. Both a calm demeanour and an outgoing personality are required to deal effectively with multiple clients.
