Description

Responsible for the development, planning and implementation of programs and services for youth ages 13 to 18 in the community.  Programs are offered on a recreational and educational basis, in the after-school and evening hours.  Programs are offered through our non-profit and charitable organization. The position includes promotion, fund development, sponsorship and building community partnerships. You must be able to build relationships and connect with teens to engage them in all programs and services. A large component is our Rogers Raising the Grade Educational Program. The position also includes teaching life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, resume writing, and transition to independence skills.  The position involves mandatory attendance at a training in Toronto in the beginning of June (expenses paid).
