Description

The Authority is seeking a candidate for the above position to start as soon as possible. The successful person will be a member of the management team, will supervise intake/ administration staff and will report to the Operations Manager.

S/He is responsible for the administration services and staff supervision.  Duties will include the administration some human resource benefit and payroll management.  This position is also responsible to provide secretarial and confidential secretariat services to the Board of Directors and management.

The knowledge, skills and abilities required will typically be obtained through a combination of formal post-secondary education (university degree, diploma, or certificate) in a related field and 3-5 years of progressive management experience.

Qualifications and characteristics of the successful candidate include:
-Demonstrated skill in program and office administration;
-Proven ability in human resource management, including personnel, benefits and payroll administration;
-Current applied knowledge of required information technology and computer literacy;
-Working knowledge of applicable acts, regulations and legislation;
-Superior organizational, verbal presentation and written administrative skills;
-High degree of independence, discretion, delegation and collaborative skills;

A criminal record check prior to commencing employment is required.  S/He will be bondable, possess a clean driving record, and have a reliable personal vehicle for use at work.
