Position: Farm (Heavy Duty) Mechanic
Primary Responsibilities
This position is based out of the Regina area and provides service to four farm sites throughout the southern part of the province. The position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, adjustment and overhaul of modern heavy duty equipment used on the farm.

Farm Manager
Job Duties may include but are not limited to
Make mechanical repairs according to the manufacturers specifications
Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic troubles
Mechanical repairs on all Farm equipment and vehicles
All other duties required on the Farm
Skills and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Works safely, adhering to safe Farm practices when handling tools and operating equipment
Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
Reliable
Strong interpersonal and team building skills
Active listener
A minimum 4 years of Agricultural experience
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner
Extended hours may be required during peak farming seasons
Class 1 license would be an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Employment Terms and Conditions
Wage will depend on level of experience, qualifications and education of the candidate. The anticipated range will be $25 to $30/hr plus benefits. The right candidate will also be supplied with tools, trailer and company truck.
