Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services is now accepting applications for 1- Permanent Full Time, Personal Care Worker based out of the Licensed Wawuhtewikumihk Group Home in Far Reserve, in the community of La Ronge. This facility is a 24 hour, 365 day facility that is responsible for providing guidance, support and supervision for individuals with Mental and Physical Disabilities.

Duties:
-    Plan, organize and supervise daily activities, recreational and other services;
-    Prepare and serve meals as planned; Administer prescribed medications;
-    Assess needs of residents on an on-going basis;
-    Maintain sanitation of Group Home;
-    12-hour shift with master rotation;
-    Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
-    Minimum Grade 12 or Certificate Personal Care or Rehabilitation Worker Certificate;
-    Certified First Aid & CPR and Food Handling preferred;
-    Be able to work independently and collaboratively with the Group Home Team;
-    Previous home care or childcare experience preferred;
-    Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver's License;
-    Security Clearance: Criminal Record/Child Abuse Record Checks and Driver?s Abstract required upon hire;

Salary/Wage:     $ 14.457 to 16.271 per hour (depending on Education and Experience).
