The Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association is the professional, self-regulatory body for the province's over 11,000 registered nurses and nurse practitioners. The Association is seeking to fill a permanent full-time position.
Reporting to the Manager, Nursing Practice, the Senior Assistant, Nursing Practice (A2) will provide senior level administrative and operational support to the Manager and practice advisors, coordinate the practice advisement call system, manage department records, organize department events, respond to and screen incoming calls for the Nursing Practice Advisors, and provide back-up support for the Executive Assistant, Governance. The position requires strong planning skills, excellent follow-through skills, ability to develop and implement processes and procedures for a variety of functions, ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and discretion in dealing with sensitive issues. Willing and able to adapt to changing needs of member-driven organization. Committed to working as team player. Demonstrate ability to communicate both verbally and written with clarity and conciseness. Respectful of confidentiality and privacy consistent with the role of representing the SRNA, both at work and away.
A 1-year certificate or diploma in an administrative function with 5 years of experience (or equivalent education and experience) is required including working knowledge of typical office software.
