Job Description: Under the daily supervision of the Justice Coordinator and the general direction of the Director of Justice, the Justice Worker is responsible for the delivery of services for youth that are referred to the STC Justice Extrajudicial Sanctions/Measures and/or Community Reintegration programs. The incumbent can expect to be assigned to either program, dependent on the operational needs of the justice program.

Requirements
-    Human Justice, Sociology or Social Work degree or Youth Care diploma with related youth justice work experience;
-    Knowledge of adolescent development;
-    Knowledge of current challenges youth must contend with;
-    Knowledge of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and provincial youth court process;
-    Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and traditions;
-    Knowledge of community resources within the city of Saskatoon;
-    Ability to advocate for youth and their families;
-    Experience working with youth ages 12-24 years old;
-    Effective presentation and/or public speaking skills;
-    Ability to prepare written reports;
-    Basic computer skills including familiarity of MS Office and the internet;
-    The following training will be considered assets:  Victim-Offender Mediation, Community Justice Forum, Suicide Intervention, First Aid, Critical Incident Debriefing, and Life Skills.
-    Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License; Saskatchewan Driver's Abstract is required
-    Current Criminal Records Check (CPIC) and a Community Resources Child Abuse Check must be available at the time of interview
