The Contracts & Procurement Manager reports to the Project Manager and ensures effective procurement and contracts management functionality is provided to the project management team.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a similar managerial role.
- 15+ years in progressively more responsible contract/procurement roles, ideally, in a project environment.
- Completion of a post-secondary commerce certificate or degree an asset, equivalencies considered
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Law
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Ability to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated with strong organization and time management skills
