Prairie Pulse Inc., an exporter operating a processing/milling facility in Vanscoy (15 minutes West of Saskatoon on Hwy 7), has opened its new grain splitting facility and is accepting applications for the position of Grain Cleaning Plant Operator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment to sample, weigh, receive, and clean lentils purchased from grain farmers, advising maintenance staff of items in need of repair, assisting with maintenance and repairs, cleaning up spilled grain, and any other duties as required.
Preferred qualifications for this position include grain farm experience, mechanical inclination, and/or fabrication (welding) experience.
The standard full-time scheduled shift is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm although shift work will be required. Remuneration ranges from $18/hr to $28/hr plus shift premiums depending on skills and abilities.
