Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Scholarship Foundation Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI) Scholarship Foundation Trust; advertise GDI scholarships in a variety of venues applicable to students seeking financial awards; schedule, plan, and record adjudication meetings; complete a detailed selection matrix to facilitate decision making; prepare follow-up reports for the Executive Director, Board, and scholarship partners; monitor and track incomplete applications and advise clients of requirements; participate in the development of new scholarships and awards for the organization; seek and develop new scholarship awards and partnerships with industry, government, and private donors; develop and deliver presentations to potential partners, students, and stakeholders; any other duties consistent with the Coordinator position, as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline; experience or training in a like field would be considered an asset; candidate must have exceptional oral and written communication and presentations skills; knowledge of Metis culture and history, scholarship or student awards process are required.
Remuneration: $56,715.00 - 63,797.00
Term: May 5, 2014 - July 2015 (leave replacement)
