K+S is in the initial stages of developing a new potash mine near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and is building its workforce to support its development and ongoing operations expected in 2016.

Based at our Legacy site, The Maintenance General Foreman is vital in building a support services maintenance team that will be responsible for site wide shift maintenance coverage, Workshop (Rebuild shop) activities and developing & implementing contractor management strategies for yard, building and mobile equipment maintenance. They will lead the recruitment efforts for their team and be an essential contributor to the operation readiness activities for all of the above mentioned areas. Once in operations, the General Foreman is responsible for coordinating and directing all non-area-specific maintenance execution activities at the supervisory level and for developing safety and performance standards in his area along with ensuring the supervisors under his scope are adhering to these standards.
