Sterling Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning is a progressive and dynamic mechanical contractor.  We are currently seeking a Service Manager with the drive to succeed and gain market share in our community. The right individual will have the personality to WIN, the drive and passion to succeed and thrive on challenges. This highly visible and recognizable position needs a strong service manager that can grow the  HVAC service division.

Job functions and duties:
Recruit, hire, and train service employees
Manage 5-10 Service Technicians and 1 dispatcher
Manage and grow the service and maintenance departments while managing profitability
Coach and mentor Sales staff
Create and implement changes to increase revenue and gain market share
Develop service processes and procedures that promote efficient and optimized operations
Facilitate management, sales and departmental meetings
Oversee the company safety directives for the service department
Ensure the company's monthly sales and operations budgets are achieved through proper planning and management of all incoming sales leads and other referral sources available within the company
Ensure service revenue grows
Review billing and warranty claims; interact with other managers about their warranty, service, start-up repair, and installation needs
Review service tickets, work orders, and time tickets for payroll and billing
Oversee software and technology use for service

Desired Skills and Experience:
Strong business leader
HVAC service management background an asset
History of growing revenue and profitability in service business
Ability to generate ideas and create processes to grow the service department
Technical aspect of HVAC; business manager with sales drive and aptitude to grow the business
Good sales strategies
Ability to create and manage processes
