Description

We are a paving company based in southern Saskatchewan, this position is all about taking full ownership of, and complete responsibility for, the P&L of our paving business. This is a new and incremental senior level position within the organization, responsible for leading the companys day-to-day operations and growing the business within this well-established roadway services company.  

As the key member of the management team
You will provide leadership in both project management and functional operations.
A key component of the role is developing, managing, and growing relationships with urban and rural clients, stakeholder partners, staff, and management.
Ideally, you are a seasoned leader with a successful track record of managing a paving, construction, aggregate, cement or similar operation and growing its P&L.
Your strong planning and civil engineering project management experience comes with a solid history of developing winning bids, organizing the fleet and personnel for effective project delivery, and successful project completion.
Key to your success has been your ability to apply a long-term view and incorporate that perspective into planning and project management.
Your well-developed technical skills in costing, contract management, RFPs and tendering, combined with roadway service experience, have been instrumental to your success.
Your people skills and management abilities allow you to provide effective hands-on mentorship to your team.
High stress tolerance and making tough decisions under pressure and time constraints is part of your DNA, made easier by your outstanding ability to organize and set priorities.
