General Overview
This person is responsible for providing superior customer service by assessing, educating, and giving written estimates to customers through gathering required information on the various waste streams at the customers site. They must be comfortable in understanding the customers business processes and what waste streams those would generate in order to build a waste profile for the customer. In addition, they must be able to establish strong working relationships with customers and have the technical capability to assess the generation of various waste streams and provide answers to customers technical questions.
Daily Work Activities
Develops inputs for the TSDF (TREATMENT, STORAGE, AND DISPOSAL FACILITIES) of waste streams at customer sites.
Completes estimates in the field or in the office. In person, reviews the estimate with the customer.
Works with the customer to understand their business processes and the associated generation of waste streams.
Completes waste profiles of customers waste streams.
Educates customers on the processing and handling of waste streams at customer sites
Gathers waste stream samples as required
Follows up on estimates with customers
Provides size up information to the service coordinator and/or service planner.

Position Qualifications
Post-Secondary education with a Chemical focus
3 plus years experience in the hazardous waste or chemical field
5 plus years and more experience in the customer service field
Promotes a work safe environment
Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and approachable. Customer Services focused.
High attention to detail
Ability to manage high pressure situations
Excels at planning and scheduling, meets deadlines and able to prioritize
Superior presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
