Description

Responsibilities:
    - Lead, develop and implement fundraising and marketing/communication activities for Saskatchewan including corporate sponsorship, grant writing, events and donation campaigns.
    - Develop, with the provincial team, a balanced funding mix of donor sources and solicitation programs that will enable the organization to attract, retain and motivate donors and volunteers;
    - Recognition and stewardship of assigned individual and corporate donors;
    - Oversight of events, including budgets, logistics, and meeting established revenue targets;
    - Overall management responsibility for the creation, operation, and growth of provincial marketing and communication strategy.

You possess:
    - A proven track record in resource development, communications and marketing
    - Strong network within the Saskatchewan business community
    - Exceptional public presentation skills
    - Experience managing and working with volunteers
    - Proficiency with computers and social media
    - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, both individually and in a team environment
    - Exceptional communication skills, including proposal and presentation skills
    - Strong organizational/analytical skills and are detail-oriented
    - Ability to identify, address and resolve organizational challenges through timely and effective management

Qualifications:
    - University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    - In-depth knowledge of the fundamental principles of philanthropy and fund development, as well as the not-for-profit sector
    - Experience in an education-related environment is an asset
    - Direct experience in marketing and communication

Position is available in either Regina or Saskatoon. Must be available to work periodic evenings and weekends as required.
