R.H. Electric Ltd. is a local electrical contracting company specializing in all sectors of the electrical and data/com industry, offering new construction and maintenance solutions for projects of any size.  Not only is R.H. Electric Ltd. capable of any agricultural, commercial or industrial job, including service changes, underground trenching, sign repair, fire alarm, maintenance, renovations and fibre optic installations, they are extremely busy in the residential sector where they install a lot of home automation, including lighting controls, blinds, temperature controls, distributed audio, home theatre and security access and camera systems.

Applicants interested in this position should have qualifications that include an Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate, demonstrated leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well with others and the ability and skills to train apprentices.  In addition to, have the ability to install, repair, test and maintain wiring, controls, motors and other electrical devices.  Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.  Test continuity of circuits using testing equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of systems, following installation, replacement or repair.  Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.  Connect electrical power to sound and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems.  Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment.
