Adult Basic Education Instructor North Battleford

The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, a provincial and national leader in First Nation post-secondary education, is seeking candidates for full-time instruction in an Adult 12 (Level 4) program located in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.
Duties:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who is passionate about education and who wishes to be part of this growing and dynamic institution
We are looking for Master Teachers; individuals who have experience across the board, but who are open to new ideas and innovative strategies
We offer programming at the Literacy levels 3 and 4 [Adult 10 and Adult 12], and this instructor may be required to teach across the levels
The instructor may be required to teach the following Adult 12 courses:
ELA A30/B30; Bio 20/30; Chem 20/30; Math10/20/30F; Native Studies; Career Education; InfoPro30; Others as agreed upon
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education
Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
Knowledge of First Nation language and/or culture
Experience teaching adults, particularly First Nation adults
Ability to be accredited would be considered an asset
Several years teaching experience preferably at the high school level
Location and Dates: North Battleford, Saskatchewan for the 2014/2015 Academic Year
