Elmwood Residences Inc. is an organization that provides care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting. We have 12 different locations throughout the city. We are currently looking to fill permanent part time positions with varying amounts of guaranteed hours. Some positions would be ideal for post secondary students. Part time employees have the option to pick up extra shifts to maximize hours.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Cooking, cleaning, personal care (bathing, toileting, hair and skin care), feeding assistance and recreational activities, recording and reporting
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License and be willing to drive wheelchair vans after training
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Able to understand and follow written and verbal direction
Flexible, patient and able to cope with unpredictable or aggressive behavior
Able to work alone or with little supervision
Demonstate qualities of trust, respect and empathy
Self directed with sound judgement and able to independently problem solve
Must be available for all shifts including nights, alternating weekends and Stat Holidays
Clear current criminal record check including Vulnerable Sector search required at time of interview and upon request.
