Position Details:
Temp. Educational Assistant
Assignment:
5.5 hours per student day & as otherwise scheduled by the Principal
Term:  
May 5, 2014- June 25, 2014
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent & preference given to candidates who possess a diploma or certificate in an Educational Assistant or related post-secondary program
In accordance with AP 400-Staff Recruitment & Selection, if the successful candidate has not completed the appropriate training, he or she will be required to enroll in a SIAST Educational Assistant or equivalent post-secondary special education program prior to the completion of their probationary period.
Duties:
Duties include supporting students with special needs & other duties as outlined on our website in AP 431Duties & Responsibilities of Educational Assistants.  
Salary & Benefits:
In accordance with the current Out of Scope Salary Grid & Benefit Plan.
