Christ the Teacher Roman Catholic Separate School Division No.214 is seeking a Payroll Clerk responsible for payroll duties involving division office staff, teaching staff including substitute teachers, school support staff and other program staff under the Divisions operations. The Payroll Clerk generates payroll for approximately 270 employees on a monthly basis and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
The Payroll Clerk will also be responsible to process maternity leaves, terminations, records of employment, T4s, benefit enrolment, remittance submissions, queries from employees, as well as other payroll related functions.
This is a permanent full-time (37.5 hours/week) position that is based out of the Boards Administration Office in Yorkton.
Duties for this position will commence on May 26, 2014 or on a date as mutually agreed.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent along with a diploma/certificate in Accounting/CPA or related post-secondary business program; previous experience in Payroll considered an asset; as well as other qualifications and competencies as outlined on our website www.christtheteacher.ca, Information-Employment Opportunities.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with experience as per the Divisions Out of Scope Salary Schedule. Benefits in accordance with the Out of Scope Benefit Plan.
